[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Nodongil, Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 22nd that it has delivered approximately 680 million KRW in project funds to 42 social welfare facilities and institutions in the Jeonnam region selected for the 2022 application projects.
The delivery ceremony was attended by Nodongil, Chairman of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, Kim Yeonsang, Secretary General of Gongsaeng Rehabilitation Center, and An Jinshin, Secretary General of Mokpok Independent Living Center.
The 2022 application project, hosted by Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, is a program that supports welfare projects by accepting applications in the form of an open theme contest.
After receiving project applications through an online distribution application in July and conducting evaluations, 42 social welfare facilities and institutions were selected.
The delivered project funds will be used for program expenses to improve community welfare services and for functional reinforcement expenses to renovate and repair outdated equipment and facilities.
Nodongil, Chairman of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, said, "Because many institutions participated in the application projects, we conducted a more fair and transparent evaluation to select 42 places," and added, "We thank the officials of institutions and facilities who work hard in the field of social welfare, and we hope that improved welfare services will be provided to the residents through this project."
