Kangwon Land Casino Introduces Pre-Registration System for Family-Requested Entry Restrictions
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Kangwon Land announced on the 22nd that it will implement a pre-registration system for family-requested entry restrictions starting January 1 next year as a proactive measure to minimize family damage caused by gambling addiction and to strengthen entry management for high-risk groups.
The current entry restriction system requires the customer's family to prepare necessary documents and either visit in person or send them by mail when urgently requesting entry restrictions, making immediate action difficult.
Unlike the past, when applications were only accepted via visits or mail, Kangwon Land has changed its guidelines to proactively accept entry restriction applications via email or fax, and restrict the applicant from entering the casino temporarily for 10 days immediately upon receipt.
During the 10-day pre-restriction registration period after submitting the application, families must submit a copy of the requester's ID and a family relationship certificate through a visit or mail to complete the final entry restriction registration. The restriction period can be requested by the family for 1 year, 3 years, or permanently.
Kangwon Land expects that this strengthened entry management will not only alleviate families' anxiety but also provide better service to customers by improving the application process accessibility.
