Kia Autoland Gwangju Donates Sponsorship Funds to Santa Expedition Team
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Kia Autoland Gwangju (Factory Manager Park Rae-seok) announced on the 21st that it held the ‘Santa Expedition Sponsorship Fund Delivery Ceremony’ to fulfill the wishes of children from low-income families in the local community ahead of Christmas.
Kia Autoland Gwangju conducted this sponsorship with the hope of granting children’s wishes to bring smiles to them and encouraging them to grow up properly without losing hope despite difficult circumstances.
The sponsorship fund delivery ceremony took place at 10 a.m. that day at the Kia main building, where Park Chi-yong, Head of Management Support Office at Kia Autoland Gwangju, handed over 10 million KRW to Kim Eun-young, Head of the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
The sponsorship fund delivered that day will be used through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation for child independence support, children’s wish gifts, heating cost support, and other purposes in the Gwangju area, and the gifts will be delivered to the children on Christmas.
A Kia official stated, “This sponsorship was carried out with the hope that children from low-income families will grow up with brighter appearances.” He added, “We will continue to take the lead in delivering hope to neighbors who are marginalized and facing difficulties in the local community.”
