Chairman Park Hyun-joo of Mirae Asset Financial Group Receives '2021 Korea Negotiation Award'

The Korean Negotiation Society stated, "Chairman Park Hyun-joo was highly evaluated for demonstrating outstanding negotiation skills and leadership by successfully acquiring Daewoo Securities and Global X through a challenging spirit and flexible negotiation strategies that consider the nation's future, supplying high-quality products worldwide through domestic and international mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and maximizing synergy effects through acquisitions and mergers to grow Mirae Asset Group into the top financial company in Korea."
Mirae Asset Securities has grown into the number one securities firm with the largest equity capital in Korea through the acquisition of Daewoo Securities, and Global X's assets under management, which were about $10 billion at the time of acquisition, have grown more than fourfold over three years to approximately $43 billion.
Kwon Seong-woo, President of the Korean Negotiation Society, said, "Chairman Park Hyun-joo prioritized trust from negotiation partners and clients, demonstrating excellent negotiation skills and leadership," and added, "Through this leadership, she has been recognized for outstanding achievements, including being selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for ten consecutive years."
