TopTen Provides Clothing Support Worth 150 Million KRW to Goodwill Store
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shinseong Tongsang's SPA brand TopTen announced on the 21st that it donated clothing worth 150 million KRW to the Milal Welfare Foundation's Goodwill Store to mark the end of the year. The donated clothing will be sold at five Goodwill Store branches operated by the Milal Welfare Foundation, contributing to job creation for people with disabilities and resource recycling activities.
At the business agreement ceremony with the Milal Welfare Foundation last November, TopTen shared the message "Opportunities, not charity; service, not profit," with the intention of creating a world where everyone can enjoy a prosperous life. This clothing support is the first project of the Happiness Sharing practice.
A TopTen official stated, "Through this Goodwill Store campaign, we will actively collaborate to create jobs for people with disabilities and socially vulnerable groups, continue sustainable activities to build a workplace without discrimination, and ultimately create a better tomorrow for everyone. We also hope this will be an opportunity to spread a culture of sharing and deliver and practice positive influence."
The 'Happiness Sharing Campaign' currently has donation boxes for the Goodwill Store installed at major TopTen stores and Shinseong Tongsang's headquarters, the parent company of TopTen, conducting a goods donation campaign. Donated items from consumers and Shinseong Tongsang employees will be regularly delivered to Goodwill Store locations.
