This visiting healing agriculture program (Healing Call) was promoted to provide comfort to the minds of employees exhausted by COVID-19 and field activities and to offer an opportunity for psychological health recovery.
The program is conducted using various plant materials each session, such as dream-filled plate gardens, hanging plants, "I am also a planterior," and hydroponic cultivation of air-purifying edible plants. Additionally, surveys measuring stress and insomnia levels of participating employees are conducted before and after the program.
Hwang In, Fire Administration Director, said, "I hope this healing agriculture activity will be a time for employees to take care of their body and mind," and added, "We will take the lead in creating a healthy workplace by promoting the qualitative improvement of fire services and the health promotion of employees through various healing programs."
