Incheon Content Korea Lab's 'Startup Booster Project' Supporting New Companies Achieves Results
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon Contents Korea Lab (Incheon CKL), operated by Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP), is showing results with the 'Startup Booster Project' that supports the growth of rookie companies related to cultural content.
This project is a program that helps commercialization by supporting prototype production of cultural content business models (items) for companies that have been established for less than three years.
This year, Incheon CKL supported up to 120 million KRW for prototype production to a total of 12 companies, connected them with experts, and helped commercialize business models by strengthening product competitiveness.
In the case of Ollbareun Networks, they succeeded in developing upcycling VR (virtual reality) content and raised four times the initially targeted amount through crowdfunding, while Moderni Games completed the development of a 3D idle game ahead of schedule.
Additionally, Eunhasu Art Museum released a job experience playbook using original characters, and Neotani Media developed emoticons modeled on improved characters and launched them to the market.
