The Chungcheong region, southern areas, and Jeju Island will have mostly cloudy skies until dawn, then gradually clear up. Snow is expected in places such as the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungcheong region, and Jeonbuk during the early morning.
Expected snowfall amounts are 3?8 cm in Seoul, inland Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous Gangwon, and mountainous Jeju Island, and around 1 cm in southwestern inland Gyeongbuk and western inland Gyeongnam.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -9 and 3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 1 and 9 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions due to favorable atmospheric dispersion.
In areas experiencing rain or snow, visibility may be reduced and roads slippery, so special caution is advised to prevent traffic accidents and pedestrian safety incidents.
Very strong winds and very high waves are expected in the central East Sea offshore and southern East Sea southern offshore areas, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution.
Sea waves will range from 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea nearshore.
