Incheon Temporary Screening Centers Expanded to 17 Locations... Operating at City Hall Plaza from the 20th

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon City will increase the number of temporary screening clinics by two, operating a total of 17 locations starting from the 20th, to conduct proactive COVID-19 testing.
The additional sites are Songdo Dalbit Festival Park in Yeonsu-gu and Incheon City Hall Plaza in Namdong-gu. Operating hours are the same as other locations: weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends (including holidays) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The city and districts decided to expand temporary screening clinics and strengthen proactive testing to block community spread, following a significant increase in COVID-19 confirmed cases and the occurrence of Omicron variant cases.
Previously, on the 15th, four additional temporary screening clinics (one each in Dong-gu, Yeonsu-gu, Namdong-gu, and Bupyeong-gu) were added to the existing 11 clinics. Thus, starting from the 20th, a total of 17 temporary screening clinics will be in operation in Incheon.
Among these, three locations?Incheon National University Jemulpo Campus, Seonhak Stadium, and Asiad Main Stadium?offer 'drive-through' testing where individuals can be tested while remaining in their vehicles.
In addition to temporary screening clinics, COVID-19 testing is also available at 11 military and district public health center screening clinics and private medical institutions, with no charge for testing.

An Incheon city official stated, "Due to the increase in COVID-19 confirmed cases, we have decided to additionally operate temporary screening clinics to strengthen proactive testing," and urged, "To prevent the spread of COVID-19, anyone with suspicious symptoms or who has visited places where confirmed cases have occurred must get tested."
