20s Arrested for Detaining and Assaulting Ex-Partner in Car
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] A man who confined and assaulted his ex-girlfriend after forcing her into his car was arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 16th, the Nowon Police Station in Seoul has arrested and is investigating a man in his 20s, identified as A, on charges including assault.
A is suspected of visiting B, his former girlfriend, at her home in Nowon-gu, Seoul, around 7:10 p.m. the previous day, confining her inside his car for about 15 minutes and assaulting her.
While driving with B in the car, A was caught in the act and arrested by the police who responded to a report. It was confirmed that A was not driving under the influence, and the victim did not sustain serious injuries.
