(CEO So-young Lee) and the Mokpo National Maritime University Alumni Association (Chairman Kwi-dong Kim) visited Mokpo National Maritime University (President Won-hee Han) on the 10th and awarded scholarships to about 10 enrolled students.
The scholarship award ceremony was attended by Won-hee Han, President of Mokpo National Maritime University, So-young Lee, CEO of Daesin ICT Co., Ltd., Kwi-dong Kim, Chairman of the Mokpo National Maritime University Alumni Association, and other officials.
So-young Lee, CEO of Daesin ICT, said, "Although it is a small support, I hope that students who have been experiencing greater difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic will not stop their challenges toward their future dreams," and added, "We will fulfill our responsibilities as a social enterprise and take the lead in fostering local talent."
Kwi-dong Kim, Chairman of the Mokpo National Maritime University Alumni Association, said, "I am grateful for the opportunity to put into practice my usual thoughts on empathy and sharing for my alma mater," and expressed hope that "Mokpo National Maritime University will become a cradle for nurturing talents who lead the times."
