Sejong City Selects Young Administrative Interns... Public Service Field Experience in January Next Year
[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City announced on the 15th that it will operate the ‘2022 Winter Youth Administrative Intern’ program starting January next year.
The administrative internship program is designed to provide local youth with opportunities to gain experience in public administrative work and to enhance their understanding of city administration.
Applications will be accepted from the 15th to the 20th through the city’s official website, with a total of 25 positions available.
Applicants must be youth aged 19 to 34 as of the 14th, with their registered address in Sejong, or university students enrolled in institutions located in the region.
The city will select the final candidates on the 22nd through a random draw using a computer program (observers allowed), and the list of selected candidates will be announced on the city’s website the following day.
The selected administrative interns will be assigned to 25 departments including City Hall, Eup, Myeon, Dong offices, and fire stations, where they will gain practical administrative experience for 8 hours a day, five days a week, from January 3 to 28 next year.
