Tomorrow Nationwide Cloudy with Fine Dust... Snow and Rain in Central Regions
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jun-hyung] On the 15th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with occasional rain or snow in the central region.
In Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and northern Gangwon Yeongseo, rain or snow will fall between dawn and morning, while in southern Gyeonggi, central and southern Gangwon Yeongseo, and the Chungcheong area, rain or snow may occur from dawn to daytime. Expected precipitation is around 5mm, and expected snowfall is 1 to 5 cm.
Temperatures will be 5 to 10 degrees higher than average, with morning lows forecasted between -4 and 7 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 9 and 16 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong area, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk, while other regions will experience 'moderate' levels. In Gangwon Yeongdong, levels are expected to be temporarily 'bad' in the afternoon.
Fog may form in northern and southern inland Gyeonggi between dawn and morning. Very strong winds are expected in the Gangwon mountainous areas, so caution is advised for facility management and safety accidents.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea.
