Samsung Asset Management Appoints Ha Hyung-seok and Ha Ji-won as New Vice Presidents
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Samsung Asset Management announced on the 13th the promotion of a total of four executives, including two vice presidents and two managing directors.
Newly appointed Vice President Ha Hyung-seok graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in Business Administration from Seoul National University. Since 2012, he has served as head of the Investment Pool Management Team and Division Head at Samsung Asset Management, Fund Business Manager, OCIO Business Division Head, and most recently as Head of the Fund Business Division.
Newly appointed Vice President Ha Ji-won holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Seoul National University and an MBA from UC Berkeley. She previously served as Head of Financial Review Team at Samsung Life Insurance, Head of Strategic Investment Business Division, Head of Special Account Business Division, and Head of Asset PF Management Team before joining Samsung Asset Management this month.
