Yujinseop, Mayor of Jeongeup, Urges Advancement of Key Projects for Next Year

[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Jaegil] On the 13th, Yoo Jin-seop, mayor of Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk, presided over a video executive meeting and urged thorough progress on major pending projects for the next year being promoted by each department.

At the executive meeting, Mayor Yoo listened to various pending issues and projects from each office, bureau, and business site, instructed improvements and supplements, and requested that thorough work plans be established to ensure smooth project implementation.

He also called for continuous attention and efforts regarding issues pointed out in the 2021 administrative audit and requested administrative changes through the presentation of alternatives.

In particular, he urged efforts to maximize results by preparing differentiated response strategies reflecting local conditions and characteristics, such as creating customized local jobs to improve citizens' quality of life and revitalize the local economy.

Along with this, he emphasized not to lower vigilance amid the recent consecutive occurrences of COVID-19 confirmed cases and to make every effort to block community infection through proactive responses and flawless quarantine measures.

He also requested active encouragement of vaccination and booster shots, as the year-end increase in various gatherings and indoor activities, combined with insufficient ventilation and winter weather factors, raises concerns about local spread.

Mayor Yoo said, “Please respond thoroughly to prevent any laxity in public service discipline or negligence in work that may arise from the festive social atmosphere at the year-end and New Year, maintain special vigilance, and ensure systematic cooperation among departments.”
