Korea Technology Finance Corporation Selected as the Most Integrity Institution Among Public Organizations
Public Institution Integrity Assessment Results Conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 13th that it was selected as the 'Best Institution' in the 2021 public institution integrity assessment conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
Kibo's overall integrity score was 9.10 out of 10, the highest ever, significantly surpassing the average score of 8.27 for all public institutions. The internal integrity, evaluated by employees, received the highest grade of Level 1, marking the third consecutive year of achieving the top rating.
The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission measures the integrity of central administrative agencies and public-related organizations annually, and this year announced the results of integrity assessments for a total of 592 public institutions.
Kibo explained that achieving the Level 1 overall integrity rating in this evaluation was due to actively pursuing 16 detailed implementation tasks under four major strategies: enhancing anti-corruption capabilities to improve integrity, realizing social values of transparency and fairness, internalizing and sharing/spreading an integrity culture, and promoting effective corruption prevention activities.
Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of Kibo, said, "A high level of integrity is a fundamental virtue for public institutions responsible for the financial sector," adding, "Kibo employees will continue to practice ethical management and efforts to prevent corrupt practices to become a leading integrity institution trusted by small and medium venture entrepreneurs and the public."
