Lotte In-house Venture 'Workers High' Partners with InterMinds... Accelerating AI Development

[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Food and beverage subscription service startup Workers High announced on the 11th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with unmanned store solution developer InterMinds for an artificial intelligence (AI) unmanned sales business.
Workers High is a startup that originated as an in-house venture of Lotte Chilsung Beverage. It operates the food and beverage subscription service "Office Mini Bar," based on Internet of Things (IoT) refrigeration facilities. It has secured several shared offices as clients, including the Lotte Hotel headquarters located in Jung-gu, Seoul. The company is expanding its service targets by operating customized unmanned stores not only for snack services using Office Mini Bar but also in fitness and lodging facilities.

Through this agreement, Workers High will collaborate with InterMinds on ▲ AI-based automated sales device manufacturing cooperation ▲ technical personnel support and information sharing ▲ joint service development and operation. Kim Jongjin, CEO of InterMinds, said, "Through the cooperation of both companies, we will establish ourselves as the most innovative shopping channel in the distribution market, where trends toward micro-scale and contactless are becoming clear."
Kim Choonghee, CEO of Workers High, said, "By applying InterMinds' AI technology to Office Mini Bar, we will be able to provide a more automated, personalized food subscription service."
