[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Noroo Paint is sponsoring the special exhibition "Masquerade" featuring MZ generation young artists, held at the Hangaram Art Museum in the Seoul Arts Center until the 12th.
Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Noroo Paint, this Seoul Arts Center exhibition aims to widely promote the works of emerging young artists to the public and support their creative foundation. Noroo Paint supports live painting to help convey the passion of young artists to visitors at the exhibition site.
This exhibition presents about 80 works by 20 carefully selected domestic young artists under the theme "Who am I?". The title Masquerade is inspired by the masquerade ball. It is a linguistic play combining "mask," a symbol of the COVID-19 era, and "parade," referring to a procession in a public square. On-site programs during the exhibition period, such as a relay painting challenge where visitors can draw directly and live painting to complete murals, add to the intention of the works and the enjoyment of the exhibition.
With Noroo Paint’s sponsorship, three artists also showcase mural works using paint. The three artists participating in the live painting?G.R. One, Sichi, and Berry Kim?expressed amazement at Noroo Paint’s products’ color development and quick drying. In particular, Berry Kim, who usually works with computer graphics, highly praised the performance of the paint used for the first time and said he wants to create larger works with paint in the future.
Noroo Paint, celebrating its 76th anniversary this year, is a long-established domestic company that has been actively supporting domestic cultural and artistic sponsorships and win-win activities. It has collaborated on colors for various exhibitions such as the Eric Johansson photo exhibition, Michelangelo special exhibition, Nobel Prize special exhibition, Art of Banksy exhibition, Hello Pu, and Moomin original painting exhibition.
