2340 New COVID-19 Cases in Seoul by 9 PM... Daily Record Broken Again
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Seoul city announced that the number of new COVID-19 cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 2,340 over 21 hours from midnight to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, the 7th.
This figure surpasses the previous record of 1,870 cases on the 2nd, which was the highest for the same time period, as well as the all-time daily record of 2,273 cases on the 3rd.
It is 726 cases more than the 1,614 cases recorded during the same time period on the previous day (the 6th).
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul has set five consecutive records since the phased recovery of daily life (With Corona) began last month: 1,436 on the 16th, 1,734 on the 23rd, 1,760 on the 24th, 1,888 on the 26th, and 2,222 on the 30th. This month, the upward trend continued with two new records in the first week alone: 2,267 on the 1st and 2,273 on the 3rd.
As of 9 p.m. on the 7th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 171,045.
