Among them, 15 people were confirmed positive during isolation or in tests conducted just before release from isolation.
Among the confirmed cases with unknown infection routes, one is a middle school student, and a full investigation was conducted targeting 631 students and staff at the school.
One case related to the elementary school in Seo-gu was identified as a daycare center child, but infection was confirmed in a test before release from isolation, and no contacts were found.
Regarding the nursing hospital in Buk-gu, on the 3rd, one staff member underwent a preemptive test at a high-risk facility and was confirmed positive on the 4th, followed by six patients who were consecutively confirmed positive.
On this day, three additional patients and related persons were confirmed, bringing the total to 23 confirmed cases related to the nursing hospital.
Regarding the leisure gathering in Dong-gu related to the Gwangju choir outbreak, four additional cases were confirmed on this day, increasing the total to 44.
