The Consumer-Centered Management certification is a system that evaluates whether a company conducts and improves its management activities centered on consumers. It is certified by the Fair Trade Commission and evaluated by the Korea Consumer Agency.
This year, marking the first year of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, Samyang Foods declared the introduction of Consumer-Centered Management in July and appointed Kyungcheol Park, head of the SCM division, as the Chief Customer Officer. Accordingly, the company announced principles such as supplying safe and delicious products, accepting consumer opinions, and preventing and blocking consumer complaints, and established a consumer-centered management system throughout the entire process from product planning to production and sales.
