Kyobo Life Insurance Receives Fair Trade Commission Award for Consumer-Centered Management
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 3rd that it received the Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) Fair Trade Commission Chairman's Commendation.
Kyobo Life Insurance was highly evaluated for leading the protection of financial consumers and pioneering a consumer-centered insurance sales culture, winning the 'Excellence Award in Consumer-Centered Management' among CCM certified companies.
The CCM certification system is a nationally accredited system that evaluates whether a company organizes all management activities around consumers and continuously improves them. Kyobo Life Insurance also obtained CCM certification for the 8th consecutive time last June.
Kyobo Life Insurance has made 'customer-centricity' the core value of the company and has been practicing customer-centered management that prioritizes customers' interests and benefits. It has a Consumer Protection Office directly under the CEO, with the head of the Consumer Protection Office independently overseeing consumer protection tasks. Additionally, the company institutionalizes listening to the Voice of the Customer (VOC) during management meetings so that customer opinions can be directly reflected in management.
To ensure systematic consumer protection, independent Consumer Protection Centers operate in seven regions nationwide. In line with the enforcement of the Financial Consumer Protection Act, all employees and consultants participated in the 'Nice Kyobo' campaign, pledging to practice consumer protection.
Furthermore, customer opinions are reflected during the product and service development stages, and to protect consumer rights, Kyobo Life Insurance operates a customer panel system involving customer participation and a product development management working council that includes the consumer protection department.
