Road Traffic Authority Selects Final 9 Questions for 'Driver's License Written Test Question Contest'
Reflected in Next Year's Departmental Exam Question Bank Reform
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] The Korea Road Traffic Authority announced on the 3rd that it will reflect nine selected questions from the '2021 Automobile Driver's License Written Test Question Public Participation Contest' in the revision of next year's written test question bank.
A total of 113 participants submitted 367 questions during the three-month contest held from April 27 this year, covering topics such as Safe Speed 5030, Personal Mobility (PM), and management methods for eco-friendly vehicles like electric and hydrogen cars.
In August, the Authority formed a panel of external experts who conducted a two-day review and selected 18 questions (from 15 participants). Prize winners, including Suwan Yoo who won the grand prize for a question related to 'Good Driving Mileage,' were contacted individually and given prizes.
Subsequently, expert question setters assembled for the October revision of the written test question bank finalized nine questions. These selected questions will undergo foreign language translation and sign language video production before being incorporated into the driver's license written test question bank and used in exams starting February next year.
