Suwon City Daycare Association Supports Medical Expenses for Low-Income Crisis Families... 200,000 KRW per Household
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Suwon City Daycare Center Association in Gyeonggi Province will provide 200,000 KRW in medical expenses to low-income crisis households.
The association announced on the 2nd that it will carry out a medical expense support project for children and their guardians in low-income crisis households in the Suwon area in collaboration with the international relief and development organization World Vision.
The support targets children and adolescents under the age of 24 and their guardians who need medical expense assistance among crisis households facing difficulties due to parental unemployment, accidents, domestic violence, disasters, etc.
The main target households are ▲basic livelihood security recipients ▲near-poverty class ▲low-income crisis households with income below 80% of the median income (monthly income of 3,901,000 KRW or less for a four-person household). The association will select 100 households in need of medical expense support within this month and provide 200,000 KRW per household to their respective accounts.
The association plans to finalize the supported households by accepting applications from daycare center directors and teachers in the Suwon area.
