What Are the Future Public Transportation Innovation Plans? Seoul City Hosts 'Mobility Hub Idea Contest'
Selection of 8 Works, Total Prize Money of 60 Million Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul City announced on the 2nd that it will hold the "Mobility Hub Idea Contest" until the 16th to collect various development plans for improving citizen convenience and innovating future public transportation.
This contest is part of the 2030 Smart Three-Dimensional Transportation City initiative and was prepared to gather creative and professional opinions from citizens and the private sector so that the "Mobility Hub" can be utilized as a key facility connecting various transportation modes.
The contest theme is to select a specific area within Seoul and propose a plan for the convergence and integration of transportation facilities considering the characteristics of the region. Participants can submit comprehensive plans including bird's-eye view drawings and related materials.
After preliminary and final evaluations, a total of 8 works will be selected, and the 8 individuals (teams) will receive a total prize of 60 million KRW. The winning entries will be announced on the website on the 24th, and the selected works will be used for policy research related to the construction of the three-dimensional transportation city in the future.
