Up to 60mm Rainfall in Gwangju and Jeonnam Over Two Days Until December 1
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] On the 30th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will experience heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, on this day, rain will begin in the western areas due to the influence of a low-pressure system moving northeast near the Shandong Peninsula in China, gradually expanding to the entire region.
The expected precipitation from this day until December 1st over two days is 5 to 40 mm. The southern coast of Jeonnam and the area near Jirisan will receive 20 to 60 mm of rain.
The Meteorological Administration advised, "Due to the temperature drop from late afternoon, rain falling from dawn the next day may freeze, causing icy roads. Please be cautious of traffic accidents caused by freezing."
