Kibo Signs Business Agreement with Busan Technopark and Busan Union Technology Holdings
Discovering and Supporting Innovative Growth of Excellent Technology Startups in the Busan Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 26th that it has signed a "Business Agreement to Support Excellent Technology Startups and Innovative Growth in the Busan Region" together with Busan Technopark (hereinafter Busan TP) and the Busan Regional University Consortium Technology Holding Company (hereinafter Busan Consortium Technology Holding Company).
This agreement was established to discover small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with excellent technology in the Busan region, build an organic cooperation system necessary for creating a regional innovation ecosystem, and strengthen customized support according to corporate demand to enhance the technological competitiveness of SMEs and venture companies.
According to the agreement, Busan TP and the Busan Consortium Technology Holding Company will recommend excellent technology startup companies within the region to Kibo, and Kibo will provide comprehensive support such as technology evaluation, guarantees, and technology transfer to the recommended companies.
Additionally, each institution plans to strengthen the cooperation system to create synergy through mutual exchange of startup and innovative growth support, technology transfer, and technology demand information for SMEs and venture companies in the Busan region based on their professional capabilities, aiming to establish a technology-based innovative growth ecosystem.
