[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 26th that the Sanchae Farming Group in Obu-myeon invited Dr. Kwon Soo-duk to give a special lecture on the future development direction of forestry and the cultivation of wild vegetables.
The training held at the Obu-myeon Office was attended by about 30 local residents and farming group members, and was organized to share know-how on cultivation techniques of wild vegetables, which have recently emerged as a new forestry income crop.
The training was conducted as a talent donation by Dr. Kwon Soo-duk, who served as a forestry researcher at the National Institute of Forest Science and as the head of the Special Management Forest Products Division at the Korea Forestry Promotion Institute.
Based on his long-standing expertise, Dr. Kwon gave a lecture on standardized cultivation secrets as well as strengthening forestry competitiveness from production, distribution, to sales, receiving great responses.
