33 New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Gwangju as of 6 PM Today
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] As of 6 PM on the 24th, 33 new confirmed cases were reported in the Gwangju area.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City, these cases were classified as numbers 6020 to 6052.
Seven cases were related to a religious facility located in Gwangsan-gu, a new type of infection route.
The index patient was confirmed positive through symptomatic testing, and the church was included in their movement path. Additional infections were identified through a full investigation.
Two cases each were reported related to a daycare center in Buk-gu and a middle school in Gwangsan-gu.
Two additional cases were linked to a bathhouse in Buk-gu, and one case was added related to a nursing hospital in Seo-gu.
Cases related to the metropolitan area, Jeonnam, and other provinces, as well as those related to previously confirmed local cases, were counted as seven each.
The infection routes for four cases, including numbers 6027, 6031, and 6033, have not yet been confirmed.
