NongHyup Bank Signs MOU with Korea Forest Service for Carbon Neutrality Cooperation

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 23rd that it has signed a "Business Agreement for Mutual Cooperation in Carbon Neutral Activities" with the Korea Forest Service.
NH Nonghyup Bank and the Korea Forest Service plan to actively promote greenhouse gas reduction activities for carbon neutrality by utilizing the resources and information held by both organizations. They will also jointly plan projects related to the restoration of the national ecosystem to contribute to the Korean version of the Green New Deal.
NH Nonghyup Bank launched the "NH Naega Green Chorok Sesang" savings and deposit product on the 15th, which allows the entire nation to participate in raising funds to support the Forest Carbon Offset Project for a Forested Korea. The bank also plans to promote support measures for the successful hosting of the "15th World Forestry Congress" opening in May next year, as well as the establishment and implementation of carbon neutrality goal scenarios.
