Gokseong-gun Successfully Hosts Non-Face-to-Face Youth Growth Expo Festival
13 Teams Participate, Live Broadcast on YouTube Channel
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cha Jong-sun] The Jeonnam Gokseong-gun Future Education Foundation announced that the ‘2021 3rd Gokseong-gun Youth Growth Expo Youth Festival’ was successfully held online in a non-face-to-face format on the 20th.
Amid the prolonged COVID-19 situation limiting outdoor activities, this festival was held to satisfy the diverse cultural needs of youth. It was composed of Part 1, the ‘Youth Policy Proposal Contest,’ and Part 2, the ‘Gokseong-gun Youth Talent Competition,’ and was broadcast live in real-time on the YouTube channel (Gokseong-gun Future Education Foundation).
The festival began with the opening declaration by the leader and deputy leader of the ‘Youth Festival Planning Group,’ who directly planned and participated in the activities. In Part 1, the Policy Proposal Contest, 10 youth teams presented their opinions in various fields such as the 4th Industrial Revolution, environment, and education in the first round of presentations. The second round of presentations is scheduled to take place on the 27th at the ‘Gokseong-gun Council.’
In Part 2, the Youth Talent Competition, 13 participating teams showcased their talents in dance, singing, and other performances, while conducting various events to communicate with viewers.
The festival video, which showed a high participation rate with over 2,000 real-time views, can be freely watched on the YouTube channel ‘Gokseong-gun Future Education Foundation.’
Meanwhile, this festival was hosted by the Gokseong-gun Future Education Foundation and co-organized by the Gokseong-gun Youth Culture House and Okgwa Youth Culture House, and was conducted through the Youth Planning Group.
Accordingly, the Gokseong-gun Future Education Foundation stated, “This festival will be the starting point for various cultural activities created directly by youth, and we will continuously provide content in various fields in connection with local youth facilities.”
