Citylabs Signs Global Publishing Agreement for Puzzle Game 'Agisang-eo Bubblepong Friends'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Citylabs, a KOSDAQ-listed company that has thrown its hat into the new gaming business, has signed consecutive publishing contracts for the MMORPG ‘TaegoM’ and ‘Agisang-eo Bubble Pong Friends,’ embarking on a full-scale expansion of its major IP lineup.
Citylabs announced on the 22nd that it recently signed an exclusive global publishing contract for the bubble shooter-based casual puzzle game ‘Agisang-eo Bubble Pong Friends’ with mobile game specialist company Haru Entertainment.
‘Agisang-eo Bubble Pong Friends’ is a bubble shooter-based casual puzzle game. It aims to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone regardless of age or gender, leveraging its high recognition to enhance its mass appeal.
The ‘Pinkfong Agisang-eo’ applied in the game is SmartStudy’s flagship IP. Haru Entertainment holds the IP license for ‘Pinkfong Agisang-eo’ within ‘Agisang-eo Bubble Pong Friends.’ The ‘Pinkfong Agisang-eo Exercise (Baby Shark Dance)’ video, which ranked first in worldwide YouTube views in November last year, has surpassed 9.6 billion views as of November this year, continuing its global phenomenon.
Scheduled to be released as a mobile and PC hybrid game, ‘Agisang-eo Bubble Pong Friends’ aims for official service in the first half of next year. The company plans to meticulously refine the overall game balance by adding over 1,000 stories and a roguelike mode, while also segmenting localization strategies by country to ensure a successful game launch.
