Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation Gangseo Branch Technical Volunteer Group, Social Contribution Activities to Improve Housing Environment for Vulnerable Households through Talent Donation
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] The Gangseo Branch Technical Volunteer Group of the Seoul Agricultural and Marine Products Corporation (President Kim Kyungho) conducted home repair volunteer work on the 16th for vulnerable households (small-scale child protection facilities) selected by the Gangseo-gu Volunteer Center.
The Gangseo Branch Technical Volunteer Group, established this year, has been continuously engaging in social contribution activities for the underprivileged in the local community.
During this volunteer activity, the technical volunteer group attached insulation foam, heat-shielding film, and draft stoppers to old windows so that vulnerable households could live in a warm environment even during the winter, creating a cozy home. Additionally, they carefully repaired inconveniences in daily life by replacing broken door hinges and installing LED sensor lights to ensure a safe living environment.
Im Jaegun, head of the Gangseo Branch Facility Management Team, stated, “During a time when it is difficult to receive external help due to COVID-19, we will continue to carry out home repair volunteer activities to provide a safe living environment for vulnerable groups.”
