Convenience Stores Target Pepero Day Sales... "From Collaborative Products to Discounts"

According to the convenience store industry on the 6th, GS25 released Pepero in collaboration with various brands including Kakao Friends' character 'Chunsiki', World Cone, Cyworld, Big Issue, and Community Chest of Korea. Three types of Big Issue Pepero and four types of Community Chest Pepero are products where a portion of the sales proceeds is donated to socially vulnerable groups. Reflecting the trend of sending gifts via mobile in the contactless era, they are also holding an event offering an 11% discount on Chunsiki Pepero exchange vouchers and mobile gift certificates on KakaoTalk Gift.
CU collaborated with Teddy Bear theme park Tezium to sell three types of Teddy Bear dolls containing Teddy Bear dolls, Pepero, and chocolate bars, limited to 10,000 units. They also sell a 'Care Bear Doll Shopping Bag' containing the American bear-shaped character Care Bear doll and Pepero, and a 'Gompyo Mini Carrier' which includes nine types of Pepero products and Gompyo stickers inside a 13-inch carrier.
Seven Eleven sells over 110 products using popular characters such as the tiger character 'Mujik Tiger' and 'Janmang Loopy' from Pororo in the packaging design. They also offer products combining Pepero with eco-bags and mini carriers featuring Mujik Tiger designs, as well as sets of wine and Pepero.
Emart24 targeted couples by offering couple rings and couple shoes as prizes. Until the 14th, among purchasers of 22 types of Pepero Day event products, 109 people will be selected by lottery to receive couple rings worth approximately 3.7 million KRW, couple sneakers worth around 2.4 million KRW, hotel accommodation vouchers, and more.
Ministop partnered with BC Card to sell Lotte Pepero at a 50% discount and released the 'Pepero Store Pack,' a packaging box designed to resemble Ministop stores.
