Yujinseop, Jeongeup Mayor, Draws Attention by Communicating with Local Youths

According to the city on the 4th, Mayor Yoo had a time of dialogue and communication with the youth of the Cultural City Youth Planning Group on the 1st floor of the Cultural Specialization Area Project Group's Gungri Zone on the 3rd.

The meeting was arranged to seek ways to develop Jeongeup's culture and solutions to current issues together with local youth, while Jeongeup City is applying for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's 'Legal Cultural City' designation.

In particular, it was a time for candid communication to address the crisis of a city losing its youth and to practice democracy for the youth who will create Jeongeup's future.

Mayor Yoo and the youth held a free discussion on solutions to the problems of declining youth population and the absence of youth groups in the region, and had an in-depth conversation about securing the sustainability of the cultural city and youth-related fields connected to the cultural city.

In addition, Mayor Yoo openly discussed the realities, issues, and policies in various fields such as youth jobs, education, and welfare that the city is promoting.

The youth freely shared their difficulties in work and daily life and expressed suggestions they had wanted to make without any filtering.

Based on the opinions gathered in this dialogue, the city plans to further strengthen projects for regional cultural development and discover various youth policy projects.
