Recruitment for Strategic Planning, New Business, and Finance & Accounting Positions
Document Submission Open for Ten Days Starting from the 4th
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Duty Free is preparing for business normalization through the recruitment of new employees.
Lotte Duty Free announced on the 4th that "we are conducting new employee recruitment for the first time in about a year amid the COVID-19 situation." With the recent international increase in demand for overseas travel and growing expectations for the recovery of the duty-free industry, the company aims to prepare for the 'With COVID-19' era by securing talented personnel.
Applications will be accepted through the Lotte Group recruitment website from November 4th to 14th, and candidates will be selected through document screening, aptitude tests, and interviews.
The recruitment fields are strategic planning & new business and finance & accounting positions. Eligibility requires candidates to have obtained or be expected to obtain a bachelor's degree or higher by December this year. For strategic planning & new business positions, applicants majoring in business-related fields are preferred, while for finance & accounting positions, holders of certifications such as CPA, AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), tax accountant, or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are given preference. The interview process consists of competency interviews, presentation interviews, and executive interviews. Additionally, for applicants to the strategic planning & new business positions who wish, an English interview will be conducted. After about a month-long recruitment process, the final successful candidates will be announced on the Lotte Group recruitment website after mid-December.

Meanwhile, prior to this new employee recruitment announcement, Lotte Duty Free opened the world's first online duty-free luxury store 'Sogong 1beonji,' selling about 5,000 products from over 30 luxury brands including fashion, jewelry, and watches. With Singapore included in the 'Travel Bubble' agreement, Lotte Duty Free is preparing for the normal operation of its Changi Airport store in Singapore. Additionally, the company is accelerating preparations for the 'With COVID-19' era by coordinating the opening schedules of three overseas stores located in downtown Da Nang and Hanoi in Vietnam, and downtown Sydney in Australia, while monitoring local conditions.
