6 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gwangju by 2 PM on the 3rd
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] As of 2 PM on the 3rd, six new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the Gwangju area.
The Gwangju Metropolitan City announced the current status of COVID-19 cases containing this information.
Among them, four people were infected after getting tested due to symptoms, and their infection routes have not yet been identified.
Another person is currently in quarantine related to a worker shelter located in Dong-gu. The cumulative total so far is nine.
One previously confirmed patient tested positive before being released from self-quarantine.
The full vaccination rate was surveyed at 74.3%, and the first-dose vaccination rate at 79.4%.
With the vaccination rate exceeding 70% and entering a phased return to normal life, it has been found that 754 people have experienced breakthrough infections since April 23 to the present.
