Recently, a post titled "I was hit-and-run on the highway" was uploaded on the online community 'Bobae Dream.'
A, who identified themselves as the victim of the hit-and-run accident, recounted, "On the 29th of last month at around 4:15 PM, I was driving normally in the second lane near the Cheongju Junction on the Seoul-bound side of the Gyeongbu Expressway. Then, the offending vehicle changed lanes from the third lane and collided with the rear passenger side of my car before fleeing to the first lane."
They continued, "I lost consciousness briefly at the time of the accident," and added, "Watching the dashcam footage from the car behind, it was confirmed that the offending vehicle not only didn’t brake but actually accelerated."
A said, "Right after the accident, I only remember a female driver from the car behind approaching me and asking if I was okay and offering help," and lamented, "I never imagined the offending vehicle would flee."

A said, "About three hours after the accident, I received a call from the insurance company employee of the offending vehicle," and criticized, "They said the driver was a beginner and couldn’t stop, but I can’t trust that because I haven’t seen the dashcam footage of the offending vehicle."
They added, "The driver was a woman, and the passenger was a man. Both took a breathalyzer test, and only the man’s result was below the legal limit," and said, "They claim there was no driver swap, but if it happened inside the car, who knows."
They expressed puzzlement, saying, "The driver is a woman who said she couldn’t stop because she was a beginner. But wouldn’t the male passenger have told her to stop the car?" and called it "quite ironic."
Furthermore, A said, "It doesn’t look like a major accident on the outside, but I lost consciousness briefly at the time," and reported, "My current physical condition includes headaches, vomiting, dizziness, and flu-like symptoms, so I am in a lot of pain."
