'My Credit Score Comparison' Service Launched
First in Finance Sector to Check Scores from NICE and KCB at Once
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hyundai Card announced on the 1st that it will launch the 'My Credit Score Comparison Service,' the first in the domestic financial sector to allow users to check credit scores provided by two major domestic credit rating agencies at a glance.
This service features the simultaneous display of an individual's credit scores provided by the two credit rating agencies, NICE Information Service and Korea Credit Bureau (KCB).
Until now, most services that provide personal credit scores showed the credit score from only one of the two agencies, either NICE or KCB. However, many financial companies that sell financial products such as cards or loans refer to credit scores from both agencies when conducting membership screening. This is because the two companies use different weighted factors for each item in measuring credit scores. As a result, customers wishing to use financial products had to check their credit scores through multiple services.
The newly introduced My Credit Score Comparison Service focuses on resolving this inconvenience for customers. Above all, it displays the customer's credit scores together on one screen, making it easy to compare the scores provided by NICE and KCB. Additionally, users can view their credit score change history and the credit information inquiry history, which shows how many times and by which financial institutions their personal credit information has been accessed. This service is available free of charge for life to all Hyundai Card customers.

A Hyundai Card official stated, "In the MyData service scheduled to open in December, we will introduce features that help raise credit information by leveling personal credit data along with debt information such as card usage amounts and loan balances," adding, "We plan to provide a comprehensive asset management service with various additional data."
