Hyundai Department Store "Watch Children's Artwork Videos and Join the 'Good Donation'"
'Window 50' Project Showcasing Children's Artworks through Online Video Exhibition and Artbook
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Hyundai Department Store announced on the 31st that it will run the 'Window 50 Project,' presenting children's artworks through online videos and an artbook until the 14th of next month.
The 'Window 50 Project' consists of an online video exhibition and an artbook featuring 50 award-winning works from this year's 'Hyundai Department Store Children's Drawing Contest,' which has been held annually every April and May for kindergarten and elementary school students for 36 years since 1986.
The online video exhibition of the Window 50 Project can be viewed on the Hyundai Children's Book Museum MOKA YouTube channel, featuring 10 artworks that won awards such as the Minister of Environment Award and Hyundai Department Store President's Award in this year's drawing contest.
Hyundai Department Store will donate 5,000 KRW for each view of the Window 50 Project video until the 14th of next month, raising funds to be delivered to 50 underprivileged families vulnerable to the winter cold through the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.
Additionally, Hyundai Department Store plans to donate the artbook 'Window 50,' which compiles 50 award-winning works from this year's drawing contest, to about 20 children's educational institutions, including elementary schools in Seoul and libraries located in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
A Hyundai Department Store representative said, "We planned this meaningful social contribution activity with our customers to help children vulnerable to climate change have a warm winter. We hope that the donations through the 'Window 50 Project' will provide some support to underprivileged children, and we will continue to carry out social contribution activities that offer practical help to marginalized groups."
