View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 29th that it held a 'So-hwak-haeng (Sure Happiness in Fire Safety)' agreement ceremony for the fire safety support project together with TRN, the National Fire Agency, and the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
The agreement ceremony held yesterday at Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance’s Sinmunro headquarters was attended by Kwon Jung-won, President of Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance; Min Taek-geun, CEO of TRN; Shin Woo-yeol, Commissioner of the National Fire Agency; and Lee Je-hoon, Chairman of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
The So-hwak-haeng support project was planned to prevent fires among vulnerable children, spread a culture of fire safety, and improve the treatment of firefighters’ families who are devoted to protecting the lives of the public.
Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance supports the installation of sprinklers for fire prevention at local children’s centers facing difficult situations. In addition, its affiliate company TRN provides psychological treatment and counseling support for families of firefighters who died in the line of duty, donating a total of 80 million KRW through the Green Umbrella Foundation.
