Gwangju Creative Economy Innovation Center, Activation of Open Innovation Projects in the Field of Artificial Intelligence
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (Director Ha Sang-yong) announced on the 28th that it has signed a business agreement with KT CS to promote open innovation projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
The agreement includes utilizing the startup and SME network in the AI sector to collaborate on nurturing AI startup companies based on demand-driven technologies, developing platforms related to artificial intelligence (AI) and big data, and creating opportunities for startups to participate in competitions and related fields.
Recently, the Gwangju Innovation Center relocated the AI Startup Camp and held an opening ceremony, and is currently conducting the AI Test-Bed Korea competition to revitalize the AI sector.
Additionally, to expand the base of the AI field, AI-related experts will be invited to give lectures during the Gwangju Startup Forum in October and November.
Director Ha Sang-yong stated, “Through this agreement with KT CS, we will serve as a gateway to expand the center’s open innovation and provide opportunities for AI startups to advance further.”
