Korea Investment & Securities Hosts Bankis Overseas ETF Real Investment Competition
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 27th that it will hold an 'Overseas ETF Real Investment Competition' for BanKIS customers. BanKIS is Korea Investment & Securities' online trading service that can be opened non-face-to-face or through commercial banks.
The real investment competition will be held for 8 weeks from next month 1st to December 24th. Depending on the size of the deposited assets in the account, three leagues will be operated: ▲10 million KRW or more ▲1 million KRW to less than 10 million KRW ▲100,000 KRW or more to less than 1 million KRW, and the competition will be divided into the return rate category and the profit category.
After the competition ends, 18 winners will be selected: 9 in the profit league and 9 in the return rate league, and prize money will be awarded. The total prize money is 18.5 million KRW. Participants must meet conditions of trading at least 3 different stocks and a turnover rate of 300% or more. Additionally, the top 3 daily traders by transaction amount will receive up to 300,000 KRW in cash separately until the end of the competition.
Applications can be made through the Korea Investment & Securities website, MTS, and HTS until December 19th. The first 2,000 participants will receive a Starbucks coffee coupon.
