Police Send Former National Team Skating Coach to Prosecution on Sexual Harassment Charges
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] An ice skating coach accused of sexually assaulting former national speed skating athlete A has been referred to the prosecution.
On the 26th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that it had sent former national ice skating coach B (34) to the prosecution on charges of sexual assault and special assault.
B is accused of forcibly hugging and kissing A at the Taereung International Skating Rink in Nowon-gu between 2016 and 2017, as well as assaulting athletes by hitting them with helmets.
The police began an investigation after receiving A's complaint in April.
