Yeonggwang-gun Operates Reception Desk for 'Small Business Loss Compensation'
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 26th that starting from the 3rd of next month, it will operate an on-site reception desk for the 'Small Business Loss Compensation' targeting small business owners who suffered damages due to assembly bans or business restrictions caused by COVID-19.
The eligible businesses are those that experienced losses due to assembly bans or business hour restrictions during the period from July 7th to the 30th of last month. The relevant industries in the county include ▲entertainment and karaoke bars ▲singing practice rooms ▲restaurants and cafes ▲bathhouses, among others.
The loss compensation is calculated as 'average daily loss × duration of quarantine measures (days) × adjustment rate (80%)'. Once the business agrees to the calculated amount and applies, the payment will be made within 2 days.
The average daily loss is calculated by multiplying the decrease in average daily revenue for the same month this year compared to 2019, when there was no impact from COVID-19, by the sum of the 2019 operating profit margin and the proportion of labor costs and rent to sales in 2019.
The adjustment rate is uniformly applied at 80%, regardless of industry or administrative measures.
Online applications can be made from the 27th by accessing the online integrated management system, entering the business registration number without any additional documents, and completing the identity verification process.
Additionally, starting from the 3rd of next month, the county plans to operate an on-site reception desk at the 2nd floor of the Economic Energy Department annex building in the county office for small business owners who have difficulty using the internet.
When applying on-site, applicants must bring an ID for identity verification.
Eligibility can be checked and applications can be made by accessing the online integrated management system. For more details, inquiries can be made to the call center or the county office Economic Energy Department.
