[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Dae-seok) has officially launched a campaign to promote the ‘Bojo-geum24 Service,’ which allows easy and convenient access to various government benefits.
According to Seo-gu on the 26th, Bojo-geum24 is a service that lets users check the government benefits they are eligible for simply by logging into Government24, and it is available both online and offline.
Currently, 305 public services from central government ministries, including Childcare Allowance and Energy Vouchers, are provided, and by December, the service will expand to include about 6,000 services from local governments.
Online, users can check eligible services by logging into ‘Government24’ and accessing the Bojo-geum24 menu.
Offline, by bringing an ID card to the nearest eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare center or Seo-gu Office Civil Service Department and submitting an application form, users can receive guidance on available benefits.
Seo-gu plans to focus on promoting the service through various channels such as social networking services (SNS), electronic billboards, and banners to enable more citizens to use the service.
Seo Dae-seok, Mayor of Seo-gu, said, “Even if there are programs applicable to individuals, there are often cases where benefits are missed due to failure to apply. We will do our best to promote Bojo-geum24 so that many people can enjoy various benefits.”
