The Korea Quality Satisfaction Index (KS-QEI) is a quality measurement model jointly developed by the Korea Standards Association and the Korean Society for Quality Management, reflecting customer satisfaction and the characteristics of products (services). It is the only comprehensive quality satisfaction index in Korea that surveys and announces the excellence and satisfaction of quality by targeting consumers who have experience using the products (services) of the respective companies and experts on those products (services).
Published annually by the Korea Standards Association, the Korea Quality Satisfaction Index (KS-QEI) quantifies various quality elements that customers actually empathize with while using products or services. It expands the concept of quality, which was previously recognized as a measure of the inherent performance and functions of products, to include customer satisfaction, emotion, and the creation of customer value.
Marking its 17th year this year, the Korea Quality Satisfaction Index conducted a survey targeting 66,000 consumers and experts with experience using 330 companies across 100 categories. The results were announced by evaluating both 'usage quality,' which assesses performance, reliability, durability, usability, safety, and accessibility, and 'emotional quality,' which evaluates image, recognition, and novelty. Emons Furniture achieved the highest score in the home furniture category and was selected as the No. 1 company for 10 consecutive years following last year.
