Gochang-gun Promotes 'Enterprise-Specialized Job Pilot Project'
[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk is embarking on establishing a new model for jobs for local seniors and women with career interruptions.
On the 26th, according to the county, a business agreement was held the day before in the second-floor conference room of the county office to efficiently promote the ‘Gochang Enterprise (氣UP) Specialized Job Pilot Project.’
The agreement involved Gochang-gun, two local companies (Yeongyeong Electronics, Chamba-da), and five intermediary organizations (Gochang-gun Local JOB Center, Jeonbuk Senior Job Center, Jeonbuk Regional Saeil Center, Gochang Senior Club, Disabled Vocational Adaptation Training Center).
The number of planned hires reaches 20 people (4 seniors, 11 women, 5 disabled persons).
This business agreement enables the county, companies, and intermediary organizations to collaborate, linking the workforce needed by companies with intermediary organizations by sector to conduct recruitment and job seeking.
The county plans to support work environment improvement projects for each company to ensure the efficient operation of the ‘Gochang Enterprise (氣UP) Specialized Job Project.’
In particular, the project is being promoted using the prize money awarded for winning the top prize in Jeonbuk Province’s job policy evaluation, adding further significance.
County Governor Yu Gisang said, “This is an important occasion to promote Gochang-gun’s unique new job model for seniors under 70, women with career interruptions, and disabled persons,” and added, “I hope everyone will do their best so that this project can establish itself as a successful job model for the county.”
