Daejeon City "Integrating Kkumdori into Ontong Daejeon... Design Preference Survey"
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Daejeon City government announced that from the 25th of this month until the 7th of next month, it will conduct a preference survey on the design of the Ontong Daejeon card on the Daejeon Soso platform.
Ontong Daejeon is a card-type local currency that has been issued with only one design so far. However, the city’s strategy is to issue the Daejeon Kkumdori Card, which incorporates the Kkumdori character into the Ontong Daejeon card, to encourage young people who are sensitive to individuality and trends to join Ontong Daejeon.
The card design drafts will be 공개 on the Daejeon Soso website, and any Daejeon citizen can participate in the preference survey.
Earlier, on the 30th of last month, the city appointed Kkumdori as the promotional ambassador for Ontong Daejeon. Following this, the city plans to promote Ontong Daejeon through events such as the first pitch at the Hanwha Eagles baseball game (October 25) and the Ontong Sale live commerce event (November).
