The purpose of forming the TF is to strengthen the carbon neutrality implementation system by promoting citizen participation through the establishment of a public-private cooperation system.
At the meeting, they reviewed the major achievements of the Seo-gu type carbon neutrality in 2021 and discussed ways to build consensus on carbon neutrality and raise citizen awareness.
Seo-gu plans to continue discussing greenhouse gas reduction measures through monthly TF meetings until the end of this year and to discover policies that all members of society can participate in and practice together.
A Seo-gu official said, “Since carbon neutrality is a long-term project for the entire society, continuous supplementation and discovery of tasks are necessary,” adding, “We will continue to closely cooperate and communicate with citizens and experts to steadily promote the implementation of carbon neutrality by 2045.”
